The 6TH Ghai Memorial Cricket Tournament, a Unique sporting venture, set to make a mark to promote Cricket among school students, under 13, was inaugurated by the School Principal Ms.Astha Ghai Walia, on 21st October 2023. The school playground was the venue for the inaugural match played between the host school, Happy Model School, Janak Puri and Mira Model School, Janak Puri.

Ten Schools of New Delhi region and NCR participated in the tournament to make their mark in the field of Cricket, competing for the Ghai Memorial Cricket Tournament 2023 Trophy.

The 4th Edition of Ghai Memorial Cricket Tournament Under 12 was organized in the grounds of HMS in October 2019 where all the schools of West Zone participated with great enthusiasm. The school Principal Ms. Astha Ghai Walia inaugurated the event and motivated the students with her words of blessings. All the participating teams, with their exceptional flair, stepped the ground and left everyone awestruck with their performance. With their untiring spirit, all the schools played to compete with each other and register their name in the list of winner, but as is the custom only one can be the winner and the winning trophy was lifted by St. Thomas School, Dwarka.

The 3rd Ghai Memorial Cricket Tournament, an Inter-School event for boys, under 12, was inaugurated by Ms. Astha Ghai Walia, Principal in November 2017. The school playground witnessed the zealous participants full of excitement to leave their mark on the ground. Eight schools of New Delhi and NCR participated in the tournament where after defeating all the teams, St. Thomas, Dwarka, bagged the Winner's Trophy.

The 2nd Ghai Memorial Cricket Tournament, a Unique sporting venture, that aims to promote Cricket among school students, was inaugurated by the School Principal Ms. Astha Ghai Walia, in November 2017. The school playground was the venue for the inaugural match played between G.D.Goenka School, Model Town and St. Thomas, Dwarka. With their unrivaled talent on ground they contested with each other. This was not the end but there were many in line who were waiting to enthrall the spectators with their exceptional game. It was a tough game between various teams.

The Final Match was played between Happy Model School and New Era Public School in which New Era Public School grabbed the Winner's Trophy whereas HMS raised the runners-up trophy.

The 1st Ghai Memorial Cricket Tournament under 12, an initiative by HMS to promote cricket among school students, was inaugurated by the school Principal of Happy Model School, Janak Puri, Ms. Astha Ghai Walia. The efforts of the school in introducing this event proved worth with the registration of almost all the school of West Zone. On the inaugural day of the tournament, the school ground was full of young cricketers ready to set their mark in the field of much admired sport, Cricket.

The tournament continued for about two months with matches in line between various teams. After all the matches being played the host school, Happy Model School and New Era Public School entered the finals which was played on 30th January 2016 and Happy Model School raised the winning trophy beating New Era Public School by seven wickets.

The culmination ceremony was graced by the Former England Cricket Players Alan Mullally and Robin Smith who felicitated The Winning and the Runner up teams. In their encouraging speech they congratulated the winners, appreciated the initiative taken by the host school for organizing a tournament of such value and appreciated the participating schools' endeavour to come forward and play in the competition. The event concluded with the vote of thanks presented by the school Principal, Ms. Astha Ghai Walia.
